Pudding and Praise
Pudding and Praise is an occasional, informal Sunday evening service held in our hall.
The event starts at 6pm with delicious home-made puddings and then moves into an hour involving contemporary worship songs and discussion, and ends with a blessing. It's a warm-hearted, relaxed event - everyone is welcome.
Our services run from 10am to 11am with coffee, tea, juice and biscuits served afterwards.
The first twenty minutes are aimed at all ages including a talk suitable for younger members of the congregation-after this the children leave for their own sessions-Sunday School.
Walton-On-Thames is a traditional Methodist Church but with the inclusion of modern aspects such as our new music group- Breeze-who are introducing us to new songs.
We have recently installed a new AV system which enables us to project our services. This means that not only can we project the hymn words, but pictures and videos can also be shown to enhance our worship.
Once a month we have All Age Worship where the service is aimed at all ages and children are encouraged to stay for the entirety of the service.
Once every three months our uniformed groups join us for a Parade service, in which they take an active part in the worship.
